When used in loose powder, pressed powder, liquid foundation, sunscreen or primer, the main checks are usually oil control, slip, whiteness, dispersion and stability. This Powder Silica has 99.9% SiO2 and 95-98% whiteness. Surface treatment can also be adjusted when the formula needs it.

Yes. The porous structure helps absorb sebum and oil-phase components. This is why it is often used in loose powder, foundation, sunscreen and primer. Still, a higher oil absorption value does not automatically mean a better skin feel. The final dosage should be tested in your own formula.
